Hi
just wanted to share to all you wonderful painters out there my new(ish) harlquins that i have painted. the second one got a finalist place in GD UK 07. the other is his girl friend??!!??
please please tell me what you think.

For 13 years old, your painting is pretty damn good I would say. I like your choice of colours and that they all work well together with no headache. Your painting is nice and neat and I like the bases.

Other than to just keep doing more like this, the only thing I would say is more time spent blending the hilights and shading, judging by the standard here, i\'m sure it\'s just a matter of time spent rather than ability.

How long did they take?

Yep i would agree with squidders on this one, one suggestion is to maybe try a few glazes over your highlights to blend them in and tie everything together and hopefully avoid too stark a contrast between your highlight and your base colour

impressive job, wish i could paint that well when i was 13 :D (im 27 now :( )

EDIT: really like the Harliquins kiss trooper!

sorry about the photos :redface: not sure what happened......anyway;
squidders: they took me both about 20hrs about 10hrs on each. but it could be more on the Tourpe Master because i would spend nearly all day touching up on him a week before GD.
