Okay guys... So now I have finnished my latest miniature that I have been working on this month of december... it\'s my biggest project so far to be honest :)

Anyways... This took me about 30-35 h to finnish...

I will probably enter this piece in a competition... either the Fang or maby an online comp :)

Please vote and comment if you want to :)

PS Oh! and I have to say that it was inspired by Seb Perbet\'s Ghazgkull that got him the gold in open competition 2006 :)

Nice work, though I feel the following points could be better:

Skullcap, I feel this could be highlighted more, and have some more extreme highlights armound the edges ;)

Green Amour is nice, but as I think is th biggest ptoblem with your work it lack contrast. It is not a shade I would have chosen but it\'s not bad ;)

Water on the base looks overly blue on fairy-tale-ish in comparison to the grungy metals (Very nice BTW) and the general feel of the mini

Also, the photoshopping in the second picture and the square base look a bit weird. BTW When I say \"photoshopping\" I mean where it is cut around to allow for the black background.

All in all, a nice mini but it needs more contrast and perhaps some extreme highlights on the edges of the armour. Voted 8.0

I think you did a great job. I really love the character of the metallics, especially in the pincer hands.

I personally like the effect of the water and think it gives a good contrast to the industrial grittiness of the machine. Makes me feel like he\'s an invader, like a logger in an enchanted forest.

The only suggestion I can think of is that it might look good to put some weathering on the mech\'s paint. Perhaps some paint flaking and rust showing through.

Again, great job.

good point, and i see what you mean, but i would still prefer it more of a realistic colour.

the rest is very nicely blended and the metallics are very nice. i agree with squig though - i would prefer more contrast on most of it (i like \'em contrasty!)
