My latest: Fairy Meat Archer

Okay I normally don\'t post on the forum to pimp my minis. This is probably mostly due to the fact that most of what I toss up on here was painted back in the 80s and 90s when I was in Gade/Highschool, and it posted mainly for nostalgia sake.

Every now and then I do paint something new though. I feel I have improved greatly since finding CMON, with the major improvments being layering instead of drybrushing. I think I\'m getting that down pretty good (see the red shirt below for best recent example). What I need to know though is what skill I should work on next. Where would be easiest to improve?

Here\'s my latest, an Archer for the Fairy Meat game by Kenzer and Co.

Any advice would be apreciated. I\'m looking forward to spending more time painting and constant yet slow improvment is what will keep me with it.

I would just keep painting mini\'s you like, and trying to keep them neat as possible.
Then you will find you improve to the next level:D

for some unknown reason I only recently discovered washes for bringing together colors or bringing a glow to the colors in drybrushed or layered areas, brings a lot of effect with very little work.
Like your mini, specially the wings, voted

Looks good! Any mini line that has a \"hatbot\" is okay with me.

The bone colored skin and the bone colored bow blend a little too well, I think. The base looks really nice... I\'d love to see a closer shot of it.
