My latest post. Dragon Ogres!

Hi everyone! I finally got some pictures taken of a small unit of Dragon Ogres I did. They were really fun to do. Not only do they rock on the battlefield, but I had a blast converting their weapons.

The glaive is taken from a Vermin Lord that was converted into a daemon prince. His pose was just perfect for a weapon like that. I think my fav has to be the guy with the huge stone fist. I believe the fist goes to a battering ram of some sort. LOL, how would it be to be hit with a big ol stone fist? Makes me laugh lol. One day I\'d like to do a diorama where a dragon ogre has just smashed some poor guy with that weapon and all you see sticking out from under the fist are some little legs and arms.

But please vote and tell me what you think of the models. I hope you like em!

p.s. thanks supervike for voting and commenting early!

that idea of the battering ram is really cool, i must admit!

you have a clean and neat paint style and the mini themselves are really nice, so i gave you a 8.

I don\'t like the sculpt, but that\'s not your fault; maybe they\'d beneficiate from a stronger and more dramatic highlight on the the red, but that\'s just a matter of personal taste!

Thanks for the comments! I am finding out that if you want them to really pop when you post things on the internet, that you have to take the colors and the contrast to a level that maybe you weren\'t comfortable with before. I\'ll keep on working on it and let you know when I get more stuff up.

that s right...

we were just discussing that point in another thread. You have to almost \'force yourself\' to highlight more layers (even against what would seem better judgement). It does seem to help.

Yeah, I think the fact that seeing a digital picture just doesn\'t cut it when compared to real life. You can\'t see the most subtle of nuances so exaggerating what you are doing is going to make it show up better when relying on digi-pics to present your stuff.
