My mom has been gone for 11 months now. Not a day goes by that I don\'t miss her. Just try to think about the good times. it is going to be hard. Find your freinds and lean on them, they will be there for you.

Couldn\'t say it better myself. I lost my mother several years ago after a long fight with cancer, it was a terrible strange feeling because I prepared for it for so long, but when it finally happened I almost felt relieved... and guilty for feeling that way. Complicated. I choose to remember my mom as she was when she was healthy, not sick. That helps.
