My new pet

[In Chigh P.I.]

This guy has been hanging (quite literally) about our flat for a while now. I first spotted him in the kitchen about 2 weeks ago.
he\'s very friendly, and obviously likes getting his picture taken.

We have a nice little arrangement now, he pays for his keep by hunting the flies & midges.

Pics taken about an hour ago (9.30pm uk time)

I have named him Boris

had one of those hanging off my elbow after a walk around site the other day, gave me a fright but nice looking when I got over the shock

that reminds me of funny advice given me about scorpians. the bigger the safer (like I am going to compare i will be giving it toes the other way)
Also told that in most cases if you are bitten by a snake and it holds on do not worry WTF \'dont worry\' a piggin snake is hanging off you. The reason is the non poisonus snakes hold on to there pray the bad ones bite and back of to let it die.

@In Chigh, what type of spider is that? Looks sort of like our wolf spiders. But I\'ve not seen anything with that blue tint to it....

@Lloyd, those camel spiders would give me a serious case of the hebbie jeebies. Target practice for sure.

Im pretty sure its just a Tegenaria duellica.

The wiki page makes mention of its speed, and having seen \'our Boris\' move across the floor it seems likely
