The blue - yellow - brown is a great color combination. The NMM on the scabbard is real nice. Good job.

imho the picture is unfortunate ... it\'s way too close to capture the entire model and it shows abit too much of the right arm. the nmm looks very impressive, especially the gold at the back, but this is unfocussed. I\'d try taking the pics from a wider angle, and try not to let any part of the model stick out too much ( I know it\'s hard with this kind of model )

about the painting : the skin on the legs looks much better than the skin on the arms. I\'d try getting them to the same quality level. also the rock on the base might need a small highlight with white.

the eyes are impressive. this pic doesn\'t do the model justice I\'m afraid, because your technique looks pretty solid.

The eyes are amazing, and the sword and sheath look great. But the hair looks rough, and the skin and blue stuff looks a bit flat. But the eyes are amazing!!!

Been and voted. Strong work overall. As mentioned above the eyes are great. The gold NMM is very well executed, althought the silver seems a bit flat. I think the rest of the mini looks good. I think you are underscored at the moment (6.4 as of my voting).

I don\'t necessarily think it\'s being underscored. I think people are voting on the picture. Retaking the picture could easily move this up 2 points, my first response to seeing this was bleh, only after reading some of the comments did I notice that yes it does appear that the nmm gold looks like it could be really well done, the muzzle as well.
I think you will notice that most of the best scoring painters never show a picture that is larger than life size.
