My Salute Entry On Here

Hi guys. This was my entry for Salute this year. As those that went know, no 2nd places were awarded this year(someone forgot to order the trophies) But was told by 1 of the judges it placed 2nd...typical, first placing in a painting comp and no award for it

Anyway here he is, for some reason the green blends didn\'t come out in the pics.

Nice work I got one of the unwinged older versions and did it in the stereotypical red so it is nice to see it in a different colour, I like the diorama as well.
Voted and gave it 9 I couldn\'t realy say anything to improve it so I did not comment.

great job, my only comment here is that the wings look a bit too flat... some darker areas might have helped making more contrast with the actual skin...

you\'ve created an outstanding feel to this piece and love the guy stuck trying to run away. I agree that perhaps the blues needed a bit more contrast to better define different areas of the miniature. Also I can see the sword effect to some degree, but I am not sure it 100% works, VERY close however. Love the base with crystals, really sets off the mini.

Yeh this is cool, the frozen effect on the mans leg is perfect, the colours look sweet together, it gives a nice representation of the scale of the netherlord too. A solid nine from me any day

...The Netherlord looks terrifying with the smaller guy there! The effect on the little guys feet is great.The whole concept is great and the base is superb.......cheers!

Really cool! I love the base!

But I think you should had made some more different tones on him - like making the wings dark blue or something.

Regardles, really cool job! And that kind of base is not something I see often so kudos for that!
