very cool great job.the one in the middle is on point.the one with the double huge jaw is cool too.i think you should make one like him but with
a big dip of chew,0or with a cigar.that would be funny.

jdmchaos: Thanks! Ha! That's what I was thinking!
Paandrik: Thanks! study George Bridgman and Andrew Loomis. I'm kind of new to sculpting so that's my best advice, and make your own tools.
fixed a few ears. hair and nostrils tomorrow then I think they'll be ready to cast and make masters.

looking good. only one thing i have picked up on, they look like they have sweets in the lower parts of their mouths. a bit like marlon brando in the godfather:

Great work! I love them. Concept sketches are very good as well. They remind me of some of the old rogue trader marine heads (which is a good thing, lots of character). I agree though about the area around their lower cheeks being a bit large on some though. Really good though, can't wait to see them on some marine bodies!

Hah, it's the concept sketches that gave you away, dave. The anatomy is spot on. I'm always amazed when people can translate the concept art to miniature form, especially faces. I would loove to see you get ahold of an Ogryn--or I should say, I would love for you to mass produce some gnarly Ogryn heads. Great work thus far.

cheers

I'll probably cast these on Saturday. If any of you have cast parts how does this gate look?
Phaty: Thanks dude!
Skelettets: Thanks! Your art work is crazy. Cool goblin model!
freakinacage: Hahaha. Why they do. Space marines love sweets! Manny a battle barge have been lost to the warp on ice cream runs. and that's a fact.
khavor: Thanks I thought it would be fun to give my army a bit more personality.
nix: thanks man. tediously fun. By suggestion of a friend I think I'll make an emperors champion.

Granddad!
I'd have been inclined to put a little more space between them, but other than that it looks good

some excellent work there btw

Dynamic. I think the crest on the helmet could use a little extension in height though? Still, looks pretty gnarly.

Really great work on the faces. I really wish I could sculpt like that.
I have to agree with one of the previous posters; these guys just beg for a cigar between their teeth...

Latest concept art looks sweet too! Can't wait to see it.

That latest concept sketch is freakin' awesome. Don't know about the crest height, might look good a bit taller as nix said, but on the other hand I like the minimalist look you've got going on with the smaller backpack as well. Will he be a full sculpt or will you use some marine parts to simplify?
