My UKGD entries! -Updated-

Hi folks.

EDIT:
These are the entries I made for the UK GD\'s, including the bronze winning Frodo. :) I struggled some with the photography of the main entry.. but I think this came out as a decent compromise.

Commissar Welles

Prophetess

Frodo Baggins

Great meeting up with the cmon crowd! Unfortunately the event was far too short.. Still there is really so much to write about that I could write a small novel.. :D But cheers to all people I met and I hope I see you all again soon! Especially cheers to Neil, Adrian and Rob! Opening packets of ketchup is truly an artform.. ;) And of course Cedric and Valerie! Great spending time with you! :D

All the best, Sven

Cool stuff, Sven! I love the character of that Imperial officer. I have a feeling that the Bretonnian entry looks really great in real life, but it\'s a little difficult to get a good \'feeling\' of it from the photos. It seems like one of these minis where there\'s no ideal angle to photograph it from. It still looks very nice, but I think it probably looks even better IRL. :)

thanks all :)

@Anders: I think you\'re right.. When looking at these pictures I get no sense for how the scene is set. I\'ll remove this picture now (so that I won\'t have to delete comments) and try to come up with a better way of showing it off tomorrow.. hmm.. I might even have to use two postings. ;)

Voted and commented all three!
Great above all the bretonnian mini.. wow, i very like it!

And also the professional bases you\'ve used are fantastic!!! lol

Gorgeous work there....Must hav been a Knightmare converting that Hippogriff..:D
My Favourite piece is Frodo a well deserved Bronze (Silver if you get the drybrush out;)) the colour grades are just beautiful and very subtle use of a fairly bright pallette to stunning effect...

excellent stuff.
