Check it out! Wow! I haven\'t updated - or even looked at - it in ages (I found that one of the pages still said \"happy new year\").

Anyway, there are a few new photos to look at and stuff.

Cheers

Also, if you buy a website like mine via the \"links\" page I get £5! Help a poor boy buy a pufferfish! :D

I thought I\'d tell you something you already know but anyway...you have got some spiderlings (*shudders*) with the insects. Right, that\'s my pedantic note of the day done.

I\'ve said it before but nice pics. Is your aquarium a saltwater one, then, what with the pufferfish and all you want? I know very little about aquariums and fish in general, really. I think you should get an ocean sunfish, but you\'d need a larger aquarium for that.

lol Thanks.

Mr. Bunting: The puffer fish will be in a separate tank, it would kill all my current fish. Saltwater is far too much hassle. And there is a disclaimer in the Insects section if you have a look ;)

That would require me to actually read stuff.

So, are you serious about the puffer fish? I\'ve no idea how much they cost or anything. If so, is it not a saltwater fish, as you said saltwater tanks are too much hassle. I\'m confused; but that\'s nothing new.

There are lots of different kinds of pufferfish, and it\'s true that most of them are saltwater (quite a few brackish types as well). The one I\'ll be getting is a dwarf freshwater puffer, an inch-long molluscivore from India

Much smaller and easier to care for than other kinds. I will only need a fairly small tank for it too (the one I\'ve got my eye on is 20 litres) and an eternal free food supply from all the bastard snails in my 4ft tank :D The fish itself is about 7 quid, but including the tank, heater, filter, substrate, plants, thermometer etc. the entire cost would be about £70. But I\'m still about £40 in debt to my parents from my current tank, so it will probably be a while yet (hence the appeal for money :D).

Did I mention, a website makes a great Christmas gift? :innocent:

Well, I\'m in a whole lot more debt than £40.

The fish isn\'t as expensive as I thought it would be. I guess because it sounds exotic I thought it must come at a price. I still think you should get a mola mola.

Would you like to help with the funds for that? lol

I owed my parents about $7k at the start of the summer, so don\'t feel so bad about the 40 quid. It\'ll be much worse when you hit university.

Side note: I\'ll write my old man a cheque for about $2500 in the next couple days and we\'re back to even. Hooray, then I can worry about stuff like buying an iPod Touch and a Battle Company of Marines... :p

PUFFER FISH! It\'s a fun thing to say! Or \"poffer\" as my sister would say when she had a couple of them. Unfortenty one was a little bastard, and caused the other to Puff itself to death :( Not a pretty way to go. And a mess to clean up.

Nah, it\'s because they keep reproducing and nothing eats them. Another reason to get a puffer

Cheers!
