My wedding cake topper: Reaper Pirate and Ninja

I last updated my work-in-progress for this two days before my wedding -- which was October 11th -- but never had time to photograph the final product before the wedding or taking off for the honeymoon. But now that I\'m back, I\'d welcome any comments or criticisms regarding my wedding cake topper, made from the Sela Windsprite, Elf Pirate and Edo, Male Ninja figures from Reaper Miniatures.

The voting page has a bit more of the story (and I wouldn\'t mind some votes, either ;) ), so feel free to look at it at:

Okay, totally freaky. I was JUST wondering about this today, even to the point of pulling up the thread to check if I\'d missed a final post. Good job, BTW!

What makes your post so awesome was that my wife was sitting with me when I first saw it yesterday -- after she\'d been asking me why I\'d already taken the time to take and post the pics (as opposed to other things she considered more important, since she liked the topper but certainly still does not \"get\" my mini hobby/obsession), and didn\'t believe me when I said there were people out there actually waiting to see these! lol

aaah thy look like they are in the middle of a danse!

I take that as a great compliment :D because as I said, they were designed to be up on the boxes on which people dance at the club where we met (though the real boxes are across the floor in opposite corners). As a matter of fact, the night after the wedding and before we left for the honeymoon, we had the opportunity to go to that club, where we are close friends with the DJ. Said DJ, who was at the wedding and loved the topper, played our favorite club song for the express purpose of getting each of us up on one of the boxes at the same time. She then mentioned to the club photographer what she\'d done, so we now have the miniatures\' real-life counterparts, shot on the boxes just one night later:
