Here is the first WiP for my entry to GDUK

I\'m going to be adding some tiger stripes & basing him on snow. But I\'m having a few problems with the banner. Anyone got any good ideas?

Well i\'m not sure exactly what you could do with the banner but if you perhaps give the miniature a bit of a story and imagine a bit of background for him then you could link the paint job to that. A theme is always a good thing to go for and as you have suggested Tigers and snow perhaps you could use that as your starting block.

I was thinking of something along the lines of Chaos attacking out of the frozen north. This guy has the army standard & has traveled north with his regiment of mutated Dragon Ogres to join the Chaos Legions.

he is probably standing next to the general whilst his leader is addressing his troops from an elevated position atop a low cliff. - something like that.
