It\'s ok Bill, I think we have all reached the lofty concensus it was indeed a fox...Possibly the biggest member of the crow family...next to Badgers, which are flightless. Prolly just as well, you wouldn\'t want one of those crapping on your sunday best, and I hear they give a nasty nip. So voracious in fact that Hitchcock wouldn\'t have them on set, making do with their lesser cousins!

The celts believe in the power of Crows too btw. Theres a ledgend about one such crow called Badf bof\'senen ( the Crow of battle). If it was seen on the field of war a victory was assured...The violent nature of the old Celts proooobably had a bit to do with it as well...
Having said that, were still not averse to bouts of casual violence  Heres to the Cow *cough* Crow :drunk:

I think you\'re getting a bit confused there TBS, badgers are Not part of the crow family (obviously!) ...they are a type of fair weather penguin. :p

Aaaaah yes, the black and white was a dead givaway!
Magpies (contrary to popular belief) are part of neither the Crow nor the Penguin family, and are generaly frowned upon by all other animals...Even Wasps, which are the most pointless creature known to mankind and animalkind alike.

Dear lord, and you people call yourselves botanists! But what we do know for sure is that our bird is a fox and can be pointedly waspish too.

Oi, who are you calling a bottomist?

...oh, sorry, must have misread that one

Magpies are baby badgers who haven\'t yet learned that they can\'t fly.

I\'m not a Botomist! I\'m an Ecolomjist!

I dismiss the apparent fact that Magpies are indeed baby badgers! The poop is ENTIRELY the wrong colour, thats the science bit....And my thesis for dispeling this blatant myth.
I watch Bill Oddie! I know my stuff :p

(We can all learn a great deal from the goodies)

With an 18 month old son I can tell you that \"poop\" varies dramatically in the early stages of life. If you were a real bottomist you\'d know that.

As for watching Bill Oddie, I thought he\'d taken out a court order to stop you doing that after the last time he caught you in his hadge with the binoculars???

I used to think wasps were crap until I realised that they were just ants with wings. We\'d be up to our knees in waste matter if it wasn\'t for the humble, vicious wasp.

And whoever thinks the badger is a flightless bird needs a good shoeing. To even the amateur boobologist, the badger is that most cunning of creatures: a whale. Consider the evidence (by which I mean look at Wikipedia or some such online reference site).

Times may have changed...

But jays used to be classed as vermin and you could get a bounty for every scalp you turned in...

They are bastards and do huge amounts of damage..don\'t be fooled by their cuteness..hunt them down and kill them!

Just joshing...;) I feed foxes:innocent:
