They are amazing, I have nothing bad to say about them, and highly regard them over GW\'s paints. And yes, greatcoat grey is a spot on colour, you can really play with it as it creates so many different hues and shades just by adding certain colours.

AFAIK Dwarf Flesh is used in highlighting to recreate sunshine, giving everything extra warmth. If you notice Jerome has used it on the front side of the figure alot more than the back, which is in shade.

I just watched that P3 painting demo on youtube and they painted white straight onto a black undercoat and it looked like solid coverage with 2 coats. Pretty amazing but youtube video isn\'t the best quality to see details like that so I guess it could have been splotchy.

I love these new models from Thunderbolt Mountain - the French Infantryman is great too!! In fact I\'ve just ordered this model plus a couple of others too. Thanks for the reminder!

However, to get back to your post I really love what you have done so far. His face looks really very good - what did you use acrylics or oils?
