For the first time in a really long time I actually got some stuff uploaded. I made this litte diorama as a birtday present for the missus. She had just painted her first mini and I promissed to do the basing for her. One idear led to another a before I knew it things had happened.
I\'m pretty pleased with it my self and I\'d love to hear what you think.

As you should be. Great work. Seen a lot of nice dioramas lately and feel inspired now to start doing some myself.

In spite of the fact that he\'s waving a sword around, there\'s something intrinsically \'happy\' about this scene...

Lots of fidddley little bits there with lots of attention paid to them. Some of it needs a bit more depth (one more wash), but most of it is just great.

If that is her mini up front, take a close up and open her an account.

And tell the little guy not to hit that rust monster with his sword. Makes everyone cry but the rust monster.

That halfling looks familiar. A nice little scene and a decent paint job. Your missus has a bright future as a mini painter. Oh, and I suppose the diorama isn\'t bad either.

Thanks a bunch guys means a lot.
I really wanted do more work on some of the stuff but ran out of time as I did the last bits on her birthday. But yes I agree.

The halfling came in a box with different Adventures - wizard, barbarian and a couple more I can\'t remember. The front art looked like hero/warhammer quest - guess thats the best I can do.

The mini is a rat from heroquest.
