As stated in the text beneath the pictures, she\'s eventually going to be part of a rather large diorama.
The base is appropriate to the eventual setting, as much as I\'m able to do with my limited abilities.

On the whole, I\'m quite pleased with her, though, as ever, I\'ve left plenty to be criticised.

Be ruthless.
I have a thick skin and a desire to improve.

It needs more contrast between the lightest and darkest tones in each area. You really need to exaggerate them to give a mini some real zip.

Photos are a little ropey too.

Face and hair look to be very competently dealt with. It\'s the greys on the armour and the blue that let it down really.

One day, I will take a really good photo.

I will work on making my contrasts more extreme.

For those that spoke to me about dark-lining... I agree, it would help.

Alas, I\'m not capable of doing it, yet. My hands just aren\'t steady enough, for one, and I haven\'t got any brushes good enough to do what I\'m capable of well, either.

OK this is the third time Ive tried this so if it doesnt work bad luck.

No1 Color selection. try red and yellow or blue and white. Its a more dramatic contrast and IMHO easier to do.

No2 Skin tone and hair. Make the skin lighter and the hair darker.

No3 The base doest look like its finished yet. I can still see the tab.

No4 You can do black lining just give the mini a wash with black and when you do the base coat leave a line of black between each section.

Its easy to see you skills are improving. keep it up.
