Reaper minis are quality. I love the goul king, great realism in the ripples of fat, it would be a fun figure to paint. i have a few miniatures from reaper and the casting is alway very good. Most of there figures are cast in one piece saving time when it comes to preping the model. well sculpted, well cast, great company!

I agree that Reaper is a great company.
Most of the minis in the list are in my wishlist too, and I own a Crimson Knight but i have not painted it yet... I was thinking of a different and original palette for him, maybe ice blu or something like that... any suggestion?

Minis with flowing robes like that always look good in blue.

Yeah, I just painted the ghoul king (WIP thread, I\'ll post him later on here for votes) and he was a blast.
As for the Crimson Knight, I think he would look great in either red, blue or green (on a green kick of late for some reason). Might buy a couple of that one and give it a try.
Also, I am buying the wereshark (on order) and I\'m trying to decide on whether to paint him up as a blue mako or a tiger shark. Something to break up the miniature and to give it some coloration - spent a portion of the day going over websites and whatnot (thanks Tab Studios and Airhead for the links).

I was always partial to makos and whites, but that\'s me.
reaper is a long time favorite of mine, and they have kept increasing in quality each year. After seeing that dark maiden I ended up going straight out and getting one, and I put her very close to the top of my to-paint list.
at this rate my sisters army is never going to be finished!

I like the aspect of mako, tiger or great white myself, though I am leaning towards the first two more than the later for the simple fact that there is more to \'break up\' with the coloration of the first two vs. the great white (greys and light greys/whites). Mako, has three tones of color, from dark blue to light blue to white with transition in between all three which should challenge me. The tiger shark just has some NEAT spots and coloration that I think would make a miniature like the Wereshark much more \'wow\'.
Speaking of the wow factor, I think it would of been much neater if they had done a dynamic pose with the wereshark with its mouth open and teeth distended to devour someone.
I strayed away from Reaper to GW here a bit back when I got back into painting but I\'ve found that I really don\'t care much for the GW line all \'that\' much, though I\'ve got a tickle load of stuff to paint up from them.

Reaper is a top notch manufacturer IMO and if it wasn\'t for the Dark Heaven\'s cast base I would have been back to them long before now - that being said though, the dremel, my new toy, has made things easier in that line.
Also, I like their Warlord miniatures. Anything I don\'t have to dremel for an hour is tops with me!

Inspired by the list above, I finally picked up my brushes again after a 2-months stop :bouncy:
I decided to paint my crimson knight in blue: dark NMM both gold and steel, dark blue on the cloack and ice blue on the tabard and the vest... not sure about the shield yet, but i\'ll think some color scheme while paintjob proceeds!

I\'m glad you got a bit of inspiration from the list above. Same thing here really, I just went and bought the whole list and am waiting for it to ship now! Can\'t wait to get ahold of those buggers.
