For those who might have been familiar with the band, they are currently due a new release for next month. Here\'s the video clip:

And here\'s a couple of music clips:

...

I\'m still trying to work out if it\'s a good thing they\'re still around. Their sound hasn\'t changed much and that puts their sound right back to the late 80\'s and early 90\'s. Nowt wrong with that, but I wonder if they\'ll get anywhere outside of the old fan base ???

I\'lll be buying the downloads though, so perhaps a pointless bit of wondering

I\'d like to see \"The Senseless Things\" do something; Having Jamie Hewlett do their covers and tshirts was genius

I just twigged - Hewlett was a 2000AD artist wasn\'t he?

Heheh.... I used to like them and seem to remember seeing them a couple of times live.... a real blast from the past and the other bands mentioned. All we need now is for the Wonderstuff, Lemonheads, The Wedding Present and PWEI and we have an all round old skool indie event :D

It\'s like being back at school I tell you.
Inspiral Carpets, The Wonderstuff, James, Happy Mondays and the Stones Roses and all those Manc lads, course it all went downhill when Oasis arrived but hey...hehe

Wedding Present with Kennedy, NAD with Kill your Television are defining songs in my A level years and its great to remenicse remenis ic...remember all about it.

from what I understand Rav, the Poppies did their comeback gigs early last year; the plan was to reform, but Clint has too many film score commitments in the movie world. There is a \"new\" band that will release new material soon, if it hasn\'t already.

David Gedge \"not miming\" on TOTP is still a classic

Love it when these threads come up from time to time; Lets see..........Carter USM must be ripe for some touring......

Considering going to see the NEDS in London........as it\'s nearly 18 years since I saw them and the Sandkings supporting The Wonderstuff in.......Leicester!!!!

Bill and Mistamick - do you two actually know each other? Like in the real world?

Cool! I\'d noticed the banter between you; for a second I thought you were being hard on mistamick once or twice, but now I understand :D

Have fun!

The Levellers are another band that sum up that time for me I think. I am pretty tempted to go to their festival (Beautiful Days) this year... last year\'s was supposed to have been ace.
