The Levellers!! Definately - saw them from Fishguard to Belgium! and many times in between!

Quite enjoyed that whole crusty thing back then;

The Syn...

None of you callow youths will remember them but they have just released a new album and DVD:D

As they feature Chris Squire and Alan White (Rythm section from YES) they are currently pleasing a few old hippies...:innocent:

I loved N.A.D. once upon a time. I thought they were defunct. Thanks for the info Rev!

@Shawn R.L. Primus Rocks! \"My name is Mud\"

@Finn, I don\'t know the Syn; but I have alot of YES albums.

Tank Girl also very cool.

Well worth it..

If you aren\'t a YES fan you\'ll hate it, but for those who enjoy YES it encapsulates a couple of decades in a superb performance.

@ Orb - Now that\'d be something - Carter USM on tour! That\'d blow me away. Very quickly becoming one of my favourite bands of all time. Got myself a few albums, one or two I\'d lost over the years, and remembering just how funny and clever they were. Their tunes are just amazing too. Like some scientific experiment in how to produce as many catchy tunes as possible with the least amount of instruments lol

In a bar Jonny drinks, Jonny drinks, Jonny Walker....

\"Bloodsport for all said Corporal Flash
and shoved me in a room full of C.S. gas\"

funny how looking back to the lyrics from well over 10 years ago, it\'s a relevent today!

Jim-Bob played in Bedford a few weeks ago!

My problem is, is when all this stuff was out, I didn\'t have a CD and most of this vintage music is on tape!!!!

I remember my mate came home with Post-historic Monsters on vinyl and we sat down in the living room listening to it on his Mam\'s record player lol

@ Avicenna - My girlfriend would love that. I occasionally arrive home to the strains of Axel/Axle (whatever) and it seems ripe for the picking. The 80\'s have come back with a vengeance, so why not?

Well, I just discovered that The Sultans of Ping FC have reformed!!!

\"Dancing in the disco, bumper to bumper,
Wait a minute, where\'s me jumper ?\"

\"It\'s alright to say things can only get better,
You haven\'t lost your brand new sweater.
I know I had it on when I had my tea,
And I\'m sure I had it on in the lavatory\"

pure genius.....lol

Now if only Gaye Bykers on Acid would reform...
Fields of the Nephilim and Sigue Sigue Sputnik have both toured or released new stuff recently and the Wonderstuff were touring too (without their late drummer Martin Gilks).

Reminiscence isn\'t what it used to be lol

You\'ve pulled my heart-strings Corpuscule. And you\'ve pressed the wistful button too. Ain\'t it grand?

Anyone ever listen to \'This Poison!\'? Now that\'s a band that makes me wish I was still in the late 80\'s. Weird. I was only 10 though, so it would have murder getting a beer :(

I remember the Manics on their Gold Against the Soul tour as well, with all the camo netting and guerilla outfits. Hoho!

Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People has a BIG collection of good videos and Les\'s latest DVD called 5 Gallons of Diesel is good.

On the Christian side of things - John Michael Talbot cant be beat. The Lord\'s Supper, Come to the Quiet, The Hiding Place, For the Bride being the ones I like best.

@Shawn R.L. Thanks for the tip!

@Avicenna: Guns\'N Roses are touring this year. They played a concert just this week. Axl actually showed and it was all old stuff: Welcome to the jungle, Sweet Child of Mine etc....
