From the overall look I\'d say its from Reaper - and I remember seeing it there -

From the Reaper mini page he\'s 02644: Demon Thornwart. Hope this helps.

He\'s not really for a particular game - he\'s part of Reapers \"Dark Heaven\" line and could be used with pretty much any system.

Where did you get this thing? I have no idea why anyone would pay good money for it (or why anyone would pay good money to make masters and moulds of it for that matter).

It\'s even more obscure than some of the D&D monsters I\'ve seen over the years. A werepig with angel wings... whatever lol

I\'d have to find my old old old first ed stuff, but I think its based on something from there.

As to why someone would want to buy it, I ask myself the same thing about oh, half to three quarters of the GW stuff I see.

That\'s a pretty good ratio man. I\'m the kind of guy who tallies up the 60+ new/current vanilla Marine models (plus the 3000 ish points of Dark Angels) I haven\'t painted and then buy the Battle Company box. I think that probably 90% of the GW stuff I buy falls under the \"Why the hell did I buy that\" category lol

I think I took it in trade for the wings. The wings are super detailed, and I had plans at some point to use them.
