Comon strikes again... One of comoners brought this auction to my attention. Since I never dealt with this before I am wondering

http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Warhammer-...arms=240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50 Regards, ~C

The image used in this auction is mine. I probably wouldn\'t mind much although I am not sure how kosher it is to use other people works to advertise an auction.

Problem however, my model is heavily converted and it is simply impossible to assemble what\'s on this picture from what is in this blister. In other words the image is misleading.

Anyway, if there is somebody here who encountered something like this before, Should I do something about it and what?

I\'d say contact the seller first and ask them to take down the image and use one of their own. If that does not work, contact Ebay.

You should buy the model of course! Then you should convert and paint it to look like the one that is pictured in the auction. Then eMail the seller and let him know how inspiring he was and that HIS picture led you to paint the balls off the mini and win an award.

DO NOT MAKE LIARS out of people on the internet! We are all just humans, and we need to help out our eBrothers in just the same way we help our real life brothers.

Quit being selfish Skeeve! I thought you were one of the good guys and now I see you being part of the problem and not part of the solution. C\'mon man!

I would contact this guy IMMEDIATELY. But, be friendly about it, as if you\'re trying to help him. Explain that if the buyer gets it, and then realizes it isn\'t the heavily converted version shown, it will affect his star rating.

You might mention that you\'re flattered that he\'d pick your picture to sell the item, but since you did heavily convert it, it isn\'t representative of the model he\'s selling.

And then, if he\'s an ass, bring down the ebay fraud hammer and smote \'em.

Seller has 34 transactions.

Seller took down the pic and put up someone else\'s pic of the mini.

Wonder if the seller got permission to use that pic? Seller did say that for sale was an unpainted mini.
