Hi Folks,

It\'s kinda hard to get comments about minis around here and I\'d like some for the 72 mm reaper I just posted up.

she\'s a little shiny cos I ran out of matt varnish and so did all the local stores...:p

Done. Overall, a good job, and I dont care what folks here say, larger format mini\'s are harder to do than the smaller ones.

HI Steelcult,

thanks fur postin ur comments....
regarding larger format minis... I think in a way they are harder cos a larger figure means more details and more shading so that it doesnt look on the larger surface area... also mistakes tend to be more noticeable.

However, depending on the sculpt it does solve problems for painters in that er..... we have to squint less when painting lol

Nicely done, Tabithatan :D I\'d have left a comment, but I don\'t really like leaving \"me, too\"s. The only real short-coming I can see is that the hair needs more definition. Other than that, a very good solid paint job.

I agree that the challenges to painting a 72 mm are quite different than those to painting a 28 mm. The difference in scale can totally change our expectations of what\'s possible. You don\'t expect the same thing on a 10-15 mm model you do on a 72mm.

Again, back to the proper topic, a well-done paint job overall. Even the glossiness doesn\'t bother me too much.

HI Dauber,

thanks for the comments.......:D say I noticed some of the posters mentioned that they left some comments at the mini but the comments dont seem to be there..... is this happening to any other mini submission as well?
