Hello everyone,

I just wanted to know two things:

1) If a Master of Chapter (like Calgar) is in a Land Raider that is on the battlefield, is he considered ON the BF or isn\'t he until he gets out of the Land Raider?

2) Do you place the center of the small explosion Pattern on a Head or anywhere on the base plate of a figure?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help ;)!

Not quite sure about the answer to the first one. But I would say he is considered to be on the battlefield if he is in a transport. I think the only time he wouldn\'t count as on the battlefield is if he is in reserve or something. The rule IIRC is meant to represent him directing the troops, which I guess he could still do while in the tank.

For question two, you position the template so that it is centred over the model\'s base. ie the centre of the template is over the centre of the base. The position of the model on its base is largely irrelevant

Yup he is on the battlefield

I place the blast templates as close to the center of the model as possible. Right over the middle of their base.

He is on the board. Otherwise skimmers would never be considered on the board, since they hover...

by the rules (p 30) the hole must be over the model, and the summary states that it must be centered, which means (as you well know) the middle of the base.
