Need help finding historical minis

evil tendencies

Cake or Death?
I'm planning on doing a father's day project for my two dads (biological and in-law) and since they both love history, I want it to be a historical mini from their favorite period of interest.

I'm looking for Napoleonic-era British sailors and American Mayflower Pilgrims (or something similar). I found some very poor quality stuff that wasn't intended to be painted, but my google-fu has failed me past this point.

Any suggestions, ideas for search parameters or (ideally) links to places you know and trust?

Foundry would be my first stop, just cos I've heard of 'em. The Perry Bros of GW fame did loads for them.

A friend of mine uses these guys a lot http://www.euromodels.co.uk Perhaps not much use for you to buy from with them being UK based but they stock a good range, so helpful as a catalogue to flick through.

Try Figures/Miniatures section, Hecker & Goros Zinfiguren for a good example. I tried a link but it just redirects to the home page!

Good look finding something nice!

Cheers, B.

Hello there,
We stock a lot of historical minis but it depends on the scale you're after. Most historicals on our site are in 54mm scale (1:32). The closest thing in stock we have for Mayflower period is this Puritan Hunter from La Meridiana:

As for British sailor Napoleonics, there are quite a few here from El Viejo Dragon:

Hope this helps.
