Need Help Getting To GD

Hehehe my secret plan worked! See I was going to volunteer Orkydave cos I suspected he\'d be up for it but that would have been a bit rude. So I layed careful subliminal messages on an Orky level into my post and look it worked. lol

I love it when a plan comes together.

And cheers to Dave too for being such a top bloke

O and by the way, is it worth it taking a decent sized tripod to get good shot\'s of the mini\'s? Or is it just to busy to set one up?

OK then, I\'ll leave it to you lol Seriously, I don\'t think I\'ll place this year, standards have gone up faster than mine have (not to mention faster than I can paint!).

I didn\'t mean it on a general level, I\'m thinking more of new talents who\'re joining CMON and leaving other YBs lightyears behind ([size=-2]*cough*[/size]Larre[size=-2]*cough*[/size]) :D

I have a feeling that this year it\'s Larre\'s year, but I also think Tom has been planning something amazing secretly without telling anybody ;)

My warrior priest is my best shot; I can\'t be arsed to paint anything else, and I doubt it\'d end up much better anyway. The NMM and non-orkiness of the mini might get me marked down too... I\'m mostly going just to meet people. I\'d be happy to win another trophy, but I doubt it\'s for me this year.

however, you shouldn\'t have doubts about your mini Bill, I think it\'s pretty damn awesome! :D
and yeah, I heard too that Tom is doing something, he\'s been working on it the last few months now :D he didn\'t tell me anything so it\'s pretty hard to say that I\'m keeping the secret xD
is there anyone else talented YB that we have forgot about? oh yeah! I heard that nima is coming aswell, I think you can find a WIP of his warrior priest if you go in the search funtion
I also know that there are some guys that I met at the fang that might go aswell ^^ (YB) but I don\'t know who they are so it\'ll be hard to get ahold of them xD
and there is always someone unexpected that haven\'t heard of CMON before, like Tom was last year!

however, is there any YB going to the meet-up? I will arrive in Birmingham on friday morning, so I might come along to the meet-up if I feel relaxed enough ^^

and in that case... where will it be? it\'s not long time left now you know ;D I just had my entry forms today, gonna fill them in later...

btw! I just started a new sculpt a couple of days ago! best one so far :p might be a possible large scale entry (if I have the time to finnish it, that is. I might be able to take some time from my art classes at school to work on it)

get buzy painting now! I really look forward to see all the entries/entrants

What odds do you reckon we would get on a CMON youngbloods hatrick? !

@Matty, Don\'t be stupid about cash mate, I am sure you would do the same had the NEC been in Newcastle! As for the Tripod, absolutley no chance mate! Your\'e lucky if you manage to get close enough to the glass to have a decent look, let alone set up a tripod!

@ Undave, seeing as you will not be gracing us with your prescence at Gamesday, fancy popping over on the saturday and meeting at least one cmoner in real life, or are you too under the thumb? :D

It\'d be nice to see him again, I didn\'t really get a chance to say hi last year and he couldn\'t come to GD winner\'s day.

Squig, Iono has alreday freaked, yet orkydave is still wearing that costume, as Undave pointed out he can\'t find the zipper. So anyone who sees a bloke in a bright yellow overlly tight costume you\'ll know who it is.
