need help on nmm

Ok, I need some advice on gold nmm. I don\'t know which colors I should use. I tested it with sunburst yellow from the gw color range and adding more and more white but it doesn\'t look like gold.I tested it on some old hero quest minis, but Iam not satisfied with the result. Any suggestions?

Well i use GW bestial brown highlight through to snakebite leather then to vermin brown(i think thats what its called)and then to bleach bone it gives me pretty good results

For my gold NMM I usually start with a mix of snakebite leather and black, then highlight up to snakebiteleather, then mix in more and more white and highlight all the the way up to pure white. You don\'t need any yellow, unless you\'re going for a more cartoony kind of look to the gold. Also don\'t worry if it looks bad halfway through, NMM often doesn\'t look good until you add the final finishing touches with pure white.
