Need help painting squigs?

Hi everyone,
I want to paint some squigs using some painting scheme that will give them bright orange look.I was searching for some scheme but all I found was too simple.
I need something more detailed.
Any sugestions will be welcomed.

Erm, my first bit of advice would be to paint them bright orange... ???
Do you mean what paint to use?

If so, I start off with the reds then build it up to orange with yellows blended for highlighting. When you paint it scab red or crimson gore, I know it doesn\'t look very orange lol Stick with it

I would personally go Scab red >> Crimson Gore >> Blood red>> fiery orange/golden yellow. I\'d add Bad moon to that to get sharper highlights.

Blood red on its own actually has a slightly orangy tinge. Use this to give it a thin glaze if it\'s too bright and/or to get smoother transitions.

gamesworkshop have released foundation paints (goes over black undercoat easy more pigment) use the orange in that then shade it then hilight it with the sameorange and then orange mixed with yellow hope this helps
