Everyone has seen the new-ish red scorpions librarian.

If not look here: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhamm...N-OF-THE-RED-SCORPIONS-WITH-HONOUR-GUARD.html

My only question is How would I go about making the same looking boots(as far as the knee pads.)....his are in my opinion certainly the best....I have plasticard and I have greenstuff my question is which is less time consuming...(and yes I have resin for casting copies) or could someone post a nice little guide....?

Thanks for reading..

If it's just the kneepads then I think you might be best off forming the basic shape from plasticard (rolled-out putty would do as well but it'll take longer) and then detailing with GS.

In answer to your question - plasticard would probably be quicker - although those knee pads are going to be mighty fiddly to cut to the right shape. Personally though I'm with Freak and Nod and would use putty because although it would take longer it would be easier to fit to any marine leg and getting the curves on the pad would be a lot easier in putty rather than trying to curve very small bits of styrene.
