Hi All
Well I just received a trade I did for a bunch of really nastly painted Dwarfs. What I need help with is stripping the paint off these poor mini\'s and I have no idea what I need OR even how to go about doing this so if anyone can please help me out with this and point me in the right direction it will be most appreciated.

Thanks:Rich

If they are metal, soak them in PineSol for a few days. The paint should then come off fairly easily with a rinse and a scrub with an old toothbrush and soapy water.

I don\'t know how to strip plastic minis.

That sounds kinda kinky.

Well if your in the USA.. buy a jug of Castrol Superclean and soak the miniatures in it a few days. Thius will strip the paint off them nicely. Best part is you can strip paint off plastic models with Castrol Super Clean also.

Automotice repair stores should have it, I buy it at Walmart in the automotive section. Its in a one gallon purple colored jug sell for less than $10.00

Its biodegradeable so it can be wash down the sink when done. It is caustic so remember to wear rubber gloves. I pour some in a jar or bowl and soak the miniatures in it. scrub them with hot soapy water in the end.

You may also be able to buy Castrol SC in the UK and Europe..not sure.

Get Acetone from a chemist/pharmacy. Its used for removing the sticky residue left behind by plasters (though it probably has a better use somewhere). The paint will come off instantly. Though it eats plastic like Alien blood.

Well its used to extract chlorophylls from plants in biochemical analysis, although personally I would say using it to strip minis is a better use :D

Put a little fragrance in it and it\'s called nail polish remover.

Actually has numerous uses.
