Need some Advice on a WIP

Hope this is the right place to post this. I've been working on this Hooded Assassin from Visions of Fantasy and have been struggling with some color choices. I feel like it needs some contrasting colors but I'm having problems figuring out where and which color to go with. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Good start, as for the colours seeing he is an assassin I would go with dark shades like browns or blacks or even dark blues

stay in the theme you've chosen it's an assassin so your contrasting colors to you mid-dark browns are darker browns mixed with black or like ten said I agree with navy blues or black blues so your looking at bdark browns blacks and navy blues. REMEBER stay with the theme yeah you want some contrast 1 light meets1 dark or in your case 1 dark meets 1 darker but stay with the theme of the character.

What paint line are you using?

I prefer Reaper, so I would say a leather brown and something like golden blonde for the highlights. It will have the warmer feel which will contrast with the suggestion of dark blues in the shadows.
