Don\'t get that last sentence, but
I\'m cheered to know the baby panda at the national zoo is healthy and has so far outlived any of his predecessors.

You\'re not ME!

That usually cheers people up!lol

Sounds like you have some time to yourself to watch that movie that you\'re significant other doesn\'t want to see, or paint a miniature uninterrupted, etc.

Try this:

Cwazy Wabbit

Just a goofy thing to take your mind off of stuff...

I think Mr. Medved was in \'the tube\' last month during the bombings...but, maybe you meant the Pete Tong part, which flew right over me \'ead.

Turn the radio on to your favorite station,

and dance naked through the house....

If im right which im probably not,

Going Pete Tong means going wrong

Well, let me tell you what I did here in the land of sand tonight. When I got off work, I talked like an old newsreel announcer about how we are ending another lovely day here in Iraq, land of the restless sands and welcoming natives - or is that restless natives and welcoming sands. Then it went into a series of bad Groucho Marx impressions -

Basically I had a laugh with some friends.

its all going pete tong = its all going wrong. named after a famous DJ who had various mishaps during live broadcasts.

painting minis is not happening at the moment. gw stuff keeps p**sing me off with all the casting faults and rackham stuff is just too detailed for my eyes.

can anybody recommend some minis to rekindle my enjoyment of mini painting?

Spyglass

And NO, I have no affiliation with them. They\'re nice sculpts, without tons of minute detail.

Hasslefree is also a good mini line, and their customer service can\'t be beat!

He\'s a beast! I put him together this morning. His arms are spot on - especially the techno-tentacle jobbie. Nasty!

I love Hasslefree, but I find Kev\'s stuff quite small and fiddly a lot of the time and I don\'t seem to be able to do the sculpting justice :(

That one of Seth\'s is BIG! Perfect for doing a suitably gross paintjob on!

Deffinately Hasslefree :D

Postie delivered Russ Isabelle Anghela and Shimmer this morning :D:bouncy::D

I think shimmer is the top of the painting list as everytime I look at them I have the need to pick her up and look closely at her to try and decide what colours to use :D

i think i am being swallowed up by the thing that is Golden Demon. i want to make something special for it, but it is killing my enjoyment of the hobby. and unfortunately i only have gw plebs to talk to on the gaming side of things. my folks say they have got me some 54mm historical stuff for my upcoming birthday...........sheesh i\'m getting older aswell :( !

If you are not enjoying it then stop and have a break buy something different to paint busting a gut for GW when at the end of the day all they want is your money isn\'t worth the trouble of loosing interest in a great hobby :D

Be social. Talk to your mates about the bombing and how it affects you. Get some exercise. Do something. Keep busy.
