Both places are full of heavily armed religious fanatics looking for an excuse to use the weapons. lol

Hope the interview result is in your favour, good luck.

There are other places you can work apart from the police service that have a role kind of similar to the police in case you wanted to try for something else as well. For example there is now SOCA - Serious Organised Crime Agency - SOCA website, and Customs HMRC - Border Protection site come to mind if you wanted to look at other area\'s too and maybe even the UK Border Agency.

But best of luck with your first choice.

Lloyd, you missed it while you were \"over there\".
It\'s now ATFE - alcohol, tobacco, firearms & explosives.

They found a way to branch out and request more funding by becoming a 4-letter agency.

and you left out my favorite - CIA.

I didn\'t find the spelling to bad in all truth, My dad\'s mate is a ex Inner city of London copper who for 5 years was 2nd in charge so naturally I spoke to him a fair bit to get advice. On that exam he told me that I shouldn\'t be fooled in to spelling with large complicated words but keep it short and simple. Apparently what from what he was telling me that your not allowed to make either 4 grammar mistakes or 4 spelling mistakes. So I tried as hard as I could to spelling nothing over 6-7 letters lollol

The CIA does not do domestic law enforcement - even on themselves - thats handled by the Feebies.

If I had to choose a favorite alphabet soup org it would be No Such Agency.

no. the NSA guys are scary. Make MIB\'s look tame and normal.

Yea, the Christians In Action is supposed to work \"over there\" not \"over here\" but I was just listing goberment law-like agencies.

Secrete Service is a branch of the Treasury Department and other than supplying bodyguards to polititions, I\'m not sure what they do.
