I think it has to do with the pictures i took and of cause with my paining. So can anybody give me some feedback how to improve both.
Think one reason are the reflextion i always get when i took a photo. I used matt vanish but it seems that it does not solve the problem.

Any help or comment is welcome?

TIA
Cheers Stefan

You have to take the photos always without flash. Moreover, a diffusion box is great for soft light without sharp shadows or reflexions. I\'d advise you to get such a box (Buidling it yourself will be cheap and easy). There are many tutorials around CMON about taking photos and diffusing light. Read them, they help a lot! And don\'t forget to use the macro mode because the pictures are too blurry. Finally use photoshop to increase the picture quality - et voilà.

Your paint job looks great (nice blades but lack of highlights on boots and skin), I also think it\'s just the photos.

There are some good bits and so OK bits to your painting. The blades look good as does the flesh. I think the armour and clothing needs more highlighting. I like the bases. It looks as if you only painted the hair black and did no highlights although that could be the photo. Anyway no advice will make up for practice and patience. Nice work keep em coming.

You seem to have alot of the basics down and all that you really need at this point is to continue doing what your doing. With practice comes framiliarity, dexderity and such. You are on the bike now, you are riding it, now just keep going and learn to relax with it and your learning will come faster and a subtlty will begin to come in almost without you knowing it. Good work. Keep at it!:D

Like the others said, you\'re on your way, but it takes a lot of practice to get good. I think they\'re a bit flat, and think you should up the contrast more between shadows, midtones and highlights in the future. I also think the colour choice on these figures feels wrong somehow, so you might want to study some colour theory, to learn more about how colours work together.
