Need some help with taking pictures!

Great stuff! I\'ll keep trying it out and post the pic again if I can make any further improvements. Whew, I\'m finally feeling a bit better about actually posting some images on CMON. I just don\'t want to have one of those figs where I know the paintjob is good but the pic is so bad I have to give them a lower score. Thanks again for the help!

I think that is part of the learning process here. I considered myself a pretty good photog before I started trying to shoot minis...Whole new ball game from sunsets and fish.

Well, after playing around with any option that happened to be within hands reach of my camera and photoshop, we come to this.

I think that\'s about as good as I can fix it up. Any further comments or helps before I get up the courage to start posting pics?

Heh...

Only one piece of advice...

Just print that last one out, side-by-side with your first effort, and pin it above your computer:D

Well done...;)

:flip: You know, I really just might! Thanks much for your help everyone!! Oh man, I\'m so excited I think I\'ll post this one right now. I\'ll come back later and add the link to the mini if you guys would be kind enough to vote on it.

After voting on nearly 4500 minis finally getting the courage to post your own : priceless.

Nice one, the red is a bit too vivid but this is a Nikon bug (or feature ;) )
Try to take the picture with less zoom or from a couple of inches away from the miniatures, probably you have a better focus.

Oh.. and start posting your miniatures so we can vote for them :)

You betcha! http://www.coolminiornot.com/72471 is the link and I would greatly appreciate any comments :D.

Love those \"features\". I\'ve seen a few other pics of this guys and heard complaints about keeping him in focus. I\'ll try scooting back a bit on the next few pics and see if that helps.
