Hmm. The mini looks good, although I'm not sure what effect you were going for on the blade. The biggest thing I notice is that the base and the mini are largely the same color, which distracts from focusing on the grot.

The blade was going to look used, but not rusted, well it didn´t work out, but maybe next time:) So, basicly I should have had another color for the base? I hadn.t really thought about that the Grot kind of disapear... Thanks for the advice man!:)

Looks pretty nice to me Synthet. The default image in the Gallery is perhaps a shade too big, unfortunately, because it's been resized it's also a touch blurry. Clicking on Enlarge to bring up the pic you uploaded & blimey, that's way too big :D Try resizing the image to the 800 pixel wide region & see if it's clear enough (for clues, pop to the "Top Last 7 Days" in the Gallery & see how big the images uploaded there are). Secondly, no side or rear shots? Knock up a vertical montage, at the very least showing front & back.

Well done on including the whole piece in the shot, I can't believe the number of people who crop their pics so far that half the base is missing! That branch shooting off to the right in yours would rarely be included :)

I think a resize & a montage is proably enough to shuffle the piece closer to a straight 7 than the 6.6 it's currently on.

Next, the story. What's going on? He's reached up with his left hand & is snapping that thick branch off the skinny trunk? If so, I think the trunk needed to be the fatter of the pieces of wood and his hand needs to be gripping the branch rather than it resting in his palm.

Finally, paint :) I like the metals though I could live without the checks on the blade. His toe & fingernails look a little flat. Quick shade & highlight will sort that out. I like the goggle lenses & the complimentary leaves are very cool, must get around to buying some of those for myself. Water effect is pretty succesful in it's flow, the pooling on the flat of the base could be more neatly edged though. Some final top highlights on the flesh might be nice, not too desaturated though, forcing a touch more colour into him would be preferable, similarly a tiny spot of pink highlight on the top of the nose. I like that blue tongue.

Anyway, that's enough words. Keep up the good work, it's a nice piece :good:

Cheers, B.

PS I voted 7, just so you've got some reference :)

BPI: Thank you so much for your advice! They were very helpfull, especially the one about the image size. Haven´t really thought about it. Well, I will take some new pics in dayligt and make a montage instead. The advice about the mini and his composition was also very helpfull, of course should he hold on to the branch, for next time I will try to convert the hand more if i do a similar piece.
The leafs are just birch seed, with some red and orange ink on so they are free:)
Thanks for your wote:)
