Here\'s the link to the Green, umm... well ok, its a Gray...

A little background, I have been doing \"Portrait minis\" for people for a few years (mostly for d20 modern and Cthulhu games, occasionally a memorable moment-like a 3-d mini photo...). I decided to build a self-portrait kinda out of vanity...

...And yes, my head-and nose-is big in real life (I am short 5\'3\", 6.5 heads tall-sculpt is 6.25 heads tall) so this is just about to scale.

But to be serious, I built this mini because when I go to gaming/comic conventions I usually hand out business cards... now for upcoming cons I want to reproduce and blisterpack a unique (most likely pre-painted) miniature. This is a bit more memorable than a business card...

I have done some resin casting in the past and I chose the one piece design for ease of mold-making. I am trying out Illuseffects Slicone mold making for making the mold. Anyone here ever use it? Also, any recommended resins out there for miniature casting.

Any and all Comments or Advice are welcome. I am trying to increase my skill as a sculptor and hopefully get my skill up to the others on this site. Thanks.

Had a look and to be honest I like the idea of a blister pack Business card.
overall there are a couple of things you may want to consider; for mouldmaking \"undercuts\" on a figure are what ruins it, also close areas like the right arms Weight, Forearm, Bicep Triangle aren\'t conducive to good mouldmaking as there would be a tendancy for Flash Buildup.

Why are you thinking of Pre Paints?
Surely as a Business card you could also exploit the Collectors/Limited edition market by having them as unpainted and even some in Pewter?

Thanks for the input.
Do you think I should resculpt the right arm to a closed shape (standard curl vs the current hammer curl)? That would close the gap but cover the right arm\'s bicep area.

I should clarify, not all of the blisters would be exclusively prepaints, or resin. I have more experience dealing with resin and I was thinking, I could do a quick limited run in resin and after that run, try my hand at casting some pewter pieces. The prepaints would be done in a very limited batch and used to display my painting ability.

It\'s hard to see in the pics but the miniature is wearingi track pants (you know, the ones with the lines down the sides) and a \"not-underarmour\" rugby top. Also, in the meanwhile I have added shoelaces and defined the soles of the running shoes. The mini when caste would be perfect for a three-color scheme. Once I figure out the mold-issues and correct a few things, I will post an updated pic.

Thanks again for the input.

P.s. also added my signature to the mini\'s base... I completely forgot about that in the first phase...

Not sure.
How about a parallel lift instead of the curl?
