Need tips on how to make a chain for 40k SM scale

There\'s a decent tutorial on making a Green stuff chain and other things on the US Games Workshop site - under modelling Dark Angels I believe.

Alternatively, you could just BUY some cheap small gauge chain and use superglue to stiffen it.

as are historical modellers super detailing tank stuff and I apologise now for lack of links but google them..?? my favourites and mst of my email contacts have recently been wiped with a lovely little virus I picked up...:cussing:

make sure if your gluing normal chain you get a thin superglue and don\'t use too much

Local bead/jewelry shop should fill the bill easily. Thrift stores can have a lot of different chain, cheap.

Would there be a specific reason why you would need to sculpt the chain rather than simply use \'real\' chain?
