Need to find Dire Bears (miniatures)

I know Reaper already made 2 nice Dire Bears.
The problem is: I need a third.
Of course, a different sculpt. And again, not a small bear.
It should represent a BIG bear (druid shapechanged and "magically" growed with magic).

anyone has an idea ?
Thanks. :)

Would Bjorn Bearstruck, from the old GW warriors of Renown/dogs of war unit work possibly?

I don't know the unit at all.

A google search didn't do anything either. :-s

Anyway, maybe I guess you're speaking about a man covered in bear fur ?
If it is the case, no.
I need a classic big bear.
I mean, an Owlbear wouldn't fit, and it's much more similar to a bear than to a berserker with bear fur. :-D
I really need a big, natural, bear. No armor. No rider (unless, if taken off, it does still look ok).

Hmmm.. I'm sure there was a bear in mordheim at some point, might be worth a shot looking at Ebay.

I guess I found it.
All older editions (like Grenadier 010-040) are too small.
I think I'll use the Werebear from Reaper Legends, and will modify it by taking out the axe.

One of the reasons you didn't find it is because it's BEORG Bearstruck. And, I can only imagine he'd be a pain to find. But, if you want to see a picture,

Him being in the middle, of course.

Actually coolminiornot is your friend. :D

What can I say...
Not bad, but I don't know.
I mean, it's quite skinny and less "bearly" than I thought.

Now, however, the Werebear from Reaper won't be maybe a good choice: it seems the axe sculpt is fusioned into the arm, so removing it could be nearly impossible... -_-

How about the local children's toy section for a look at wild animals or circus animals.

Our local craft store has some well detailed plastic animals that with a bit of work (basing) make decent animals for encounters (especially along the dinosaur lines where we don't play that often, so I don't want to fork out for metal.)
