Nailpainter2003:
P.S. What are the numbers I\'m seeing attached to the bottom of some posts and why are they on some and not everyones?
It appears to be a trend I\'ve started. :D
It\' s the code for your ranking as displayed in \"Your Account\", copied and stuck into your signature.

I was telling one of my colleagues today about your flying Helicopters, and man was he seriously impressed. (He only flys model aircraft by the way)

I\'m sorry to hear about the being grounded issue. I hope that there will be away around it as you\'ve been flying for a while after the Heart attack. Can you appeal?

I accept the boards findings....

Dragonsreach: I wouldn\'t mind risking my own neck, and have on many occasions, but I could never, knowingly jeopardize another soul. Yes, I have worked steadily after two heart attacks, but always passed the physical following release. The last physical was taken two weeks ago and therein, the problem was found. I\'m okay with it now, as it serves no purpose otherwise.

Gee wizz, Mr. Dodds, if I had a rating like yours, I wouldn\'t hesitate to freelance!:D I still remain amazed by all the talented people and friends I\'ve found on this site!

Faye: yes I\'m sorry but I fully understand what you\'re saying. I hope that you\'ll find as much satisfaction on the ground as you did in the air.
But what can beat flying a helicopter I \'m not sure.

Anyhow if you complete your medical studies will that make you an MD?
If it does I\'ll give you one piece of advice my own Doctor ignores:
Warm your hands up before you touch the patient! lol

Faye,
Just a thought, but is the stress test for the pilot license or for the paramedic job? If the latter then perhaps standards are not the same for commercial flight and you might keep flying if that\'s what you love. On the other hand, if you love the medical work, then there\'s a whole world of options on that side.
