Here\'s my first attempt at including links.
Please vote and please comment.

These are two dioramas I finished last summer, while doing a series of Reaper Undead figures. That\'s when I stumbled upon the secrets of glazing for smoother blending. Oh, what a time saver. Still can\'t paint as fast as Wappellious though. :( :D

Let me know what you think of my attempt at making it seem as if a monster is rising to the surface of the water, in the second link. Oh, and the lillypads. Lemme know what you think of them too, please.

I tried to make Spanish moss for the Mausoleum diorama, and sculpting the building was HELL for me, being my first try at a building.

It\'s all sculpy, except for the trees, one of which is plastic and the other is an actual twig.

Celth, what did you make the mosoleum (sp?) out of? that does not look like hirst arts stuff... In the one overhead shot, it looks a bit glossy on the roof line (only thing I could find to pick on...)

If you two ever produce kids, they have excelent chances of becomeing painting prodegies.

(gonna have to get myself some sculpy, and as the Taranti catalogue arrived just the other day, I know where to get it now :D )
keep up the good work

I used the regular white Sculpy polymer clay. After the walls were baked, I used a wood carving tool to carve the stones into it. The white Sculpy is easy to carve after baking. The Super Sculpy (pinkish color) is much harder.
Once I get my Wargods of Aegyptus figs posted, you can see what I\'ve done with carving into the white Sculpy. Lots of heiroglyphics.

As for the glossiness of the roof. I was trying to cut corners and used Golden Acrylic paint, as I have many tubes and jars of regular acrylic paints that I want to use up since we don\'t do regular painting so much any more. It ends up being more glossy than miniature paints.
