Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery.
I have to agree, he\'s put the toughness back into the character and taken away the gadgets. Casino Royale was a great piece of work and I\'m hoping that Quantum of Solace will measure up.

Also if you want to see Daniel Craig in another superb piece try to get hold of a copy of Archangel, it\'s a BBC production of a Robert Harris thriller.

Casino Royale was great. Craig was great. I have the fortune of having made these three big predictions with my firends.

1) Daniel Craig will suck the fun out of the franchise and be the worst Bond ever.

2) Heath Ledger isn\'t capable of giving a performance worthy of a character like the Joker. He will kill the momentum of the franchise.

3) HDDvD wil CRUSH Blu-Ray. Sony couldn\'t sell Beta and they can\'t sell Blu-Ray either.

How\'d I do....

Can\'t wait for Quantum of Solace. I think it\'s the 14th Nov here.

Actually even though HDDvD has fallen to the wayside, BLU-Ray is far short of it\'s expectations....That format may fail too!

But, back to the point. Your record is abysmal! I\'m not surprised however, given your disdain for Lovecraft! :D:D;)

Seen the new bond film the other day, it was enjoyable so i\'m not going to say it was bad BUT....

The story lacked in places, kinda seemed action and nothing else.

Action scenes were great as were the little odes to previous films.

Still it was a good concept for the bond franchise just with a stronger storyline would have been so much better.

Less gadgets which i\'m not 100% sure of, as when i was younger despite knowing these gadgets were complete fairytale it made Bond awesome cos you wish you had the gadgets. But on the up it gives the film a more fuller sense of realism.

I enjoyed it, though the baddie had one of those faces you know you wouldn\'t get on with

lol Yeah, I thought that. Possibly the worst idea for a heating system ever!

Not sure if I missed something, but was the hotel not in the middle of nowhere, as well?

Hate to say it but I wasn\'t really that impressed. I felt completely out of the loop as to the plot at first. I saw casino royale, but I couldn\'t remember what had happened at the end. The story was ok, it was good concept... A little weak at times, and like others mentioned there were a few parts where the writing wasn\'t that good.

I have a feeling a lot of people will disagree here but I thought the action scenes were almost unwatchable. It felt like they had strung up the cameras from the ceiling and had kids hitting them with bats like pinatas. I don\'t doubt the action was amazing, I just couldn\'t see any of it. Almost every action sequence ended with me going \"Ok. Where did that come from?\" or \"Wait. What happened... How did he die?\" I understand they wanted you to feel in the action but I just felt frustrated...

At any rate, not a bad movie if you just want some action, but I certainly wouldn\'t say it was one of the best movies I\'ve seen this year that\'s for sure.
