New Army? Which to choose...

Alright, I find myself with money in pocket, time on hand, and little else to do (not that I wouldn\'t do it anyways). So I\'m toying with new army ideas and came up with a couple that I really liked.

1) Rebel Grot Army, based in imperial guard, with stolen guard equipment. Grots in boonie caps!

2) Crusade army, actually a multi-army project. Make several forces up to a select points amount with different themes. Marines, Guard, Ad-mech, and some inquisition for real flavor. Goes well with my Imperial Saint and small Black Templars army.

3) More Orks, continue to build upon my waaagh. More Boyz, more gunz, more vehicles.

Just having a little difficulty deciding on which I\'d like to pursue in my free time.

I say do something else. Something you haven\'t touched before. Tau or Eldar would be my first suggestions followed by \'Nids. Different styles of play and painting from what you are currently doing.

Well, I\'ve actually done a small Tau contingent before. Fun to play and annoy my friends with. I also had an idea for a Harlequin themed Eldar force before, but got scared away thinking that the play style would be too delicate for me.

I\'ll definitely be adding some to my ork collection though, as the Battle for Black Reach box is too tempting to pass up, but I don\'t think they\'ll be a major focus.

Really big tides of greenskins seem to be a pretty much unbeatable army under the new rules. Grot screens give the boyz a 4+ cover save and with the entire army running on turn one and fleeting into combat on turn two with their furious charge (not to mention each mob assaulting multiple units), there\'s no way of stopping them short of causing over 20 casualties to each the 30 strong mob in the first turn and hoping they run.


WAAAAAAAAGH!!! Orks is bestest :rolleyes:
