new art

Hi Super thanks I was really pleased with the concepts it gets you fired up over how the minis could look..what people might like to see added/deleted or suchers..always room for some improvement..not sure what you mean how nathan could help us though unless you mean thru getting someone whos sculpting style fits these concepts..pretty wild Tom Mason has already asked to do one :)..I think presenting the non typical miniature such as the very cool wyrd is important :)

Ogrebane yeah there are alot of great sculptors here i know could fill the bill just seeing who might be interested thats why I like to ask sculptors what they \"like\"..if they get fired up over the concept then they will enjoy the project 10 fold...just got in another wip from Tom Mason on Korg and man hes looking bad ass..I had a long 2 hour conversation with Jeff Grace we did alot of catching up but for sure he will do something for us soon at the beginning of the year..we think a ancient dino fish with a sea devil rider or prhaps a larger king mutantion with 4 arms ona great white..imagine the rider 54mm and the great white 120mm plus...and no clear peg for boyancy but coral or seaweed sculped on for support..i cant wait to see this project started so very excited to see more things coming together...a large check from Alliance didnt hurt my williness to have more done either ;)

Hola, no worries, no gaffin\' on the concepts here and thank you for the compliment.

I think the first one will make a good miniature, and the pants fray at the bottom can be done not too badly really - think it would make for a nice miniature. Perhaps get rid of the ears (or add some hair over it) to allow for a bit more of an open use for the miniature instead of using as an elf alone.

Second one, has possibilites.

Best of luck.

nathan thanks pal ..glad you like the concepts.. looking foward to seeing what new things you have coming out soon..really like all the stuff you have so far its a grand start for sure..and that baby mini man it creeps me out ever time i see him..just evil looking LOL..ive been trying to put my finger on the style but these really have a look all their own..especially when the paint gets on them ;) ..yeah I think I must agree on the ears part more wide the audience of buyers the better the sales...myself i like the 2nd one best but thats just me.cheers mate

I prefer the armoured wizard guy. That looks cools but would be a biatch to cast with that magic effect. I love the frog!

What scale will these be cast as? I like them both. I\'m not yet good enough to pull these off but with permission i would like to try a do one as a project. With your permission of course. :)

You mean me.lol

I prefer the second though Im no fan of hooded figures.
I would assume the spell effect would have to be cast seperate.

Good concepts.

Dr evil monki yeah i like him also very dark like a neutral maybe evil character?..yeah i think the spell effects would be a bitch to cast also unless done separately and then added..which im not opposed to :)

Darkart well 32mm scale would be what we are shooting for I wouldnt mind at all you doing one but would need to ask Tom Mason one of our freelancers which he for sure wanted to do..I think we can maybe work something out..give me a email or pm we can discuss further..if you think the concepts are a bit beyond what you think you can pull off perhaps we could have you do something else?..we are going to run a design contest also did you see that?

Klute we are debating 3 new lines this year..shadowport for sure a go..Dark Frontiers..imagine sc-fi types..and Fem Fatale\'s all females...this wild looking punk girl i could see being in the lst 2possibly..the style you have reminds me allot of what steve does at spyglass or kev at hasslefree more of a animated style is that what youre shooting for?

Klute the more i look at her the more i see things i like and dislike..you seem to have preportions down very good from what i see..this is what kills alot of minis in my eyes..some very well known sculptors have problems with it..I think you for sure have potential with a green to this quality..im guessing its your first?.if so youre for sure on youre way :) pm me lets talk

Mark,((klute)) kev and steve are definitely good for tips id say excellent role models for any sculptor beginner or pro in the various styles they can pull off as alot of sculptors usually do one style and thats it..Jeff Grace told me a few days ago he was really excited to be doing minis for small companies as they were so much more appreciative and not so anal like a corporations..so check out the pm i sent see what ya think
