New Biovore??

A friend and I are just wondering if they have released a new Tyranid Biovore with the release of the Warhammer: Tyranid new set??

Nope, no new Biovore here. Move along. There\'s no new model for a biovore, and there is no Biovore in the codex, as the Carnifex kinda took over the part of heavy artillery as well. Maybe, maybe they\'ll bring out a new kinda biovore, like in White Dwarf, but I wouldn\'t count on it. Even if, they better make a new model...

Supposedly there\'s a new one coming out this spring. Seems like a lot of armies (40k and Fantasy alike) are getting little revamped releases every now and then to keep the interest up and slowly weed out any models that have been limping along in the product lines for years.

I just recently recently read that rumour as well.

There\'s a biovore in the codex.

No that is just a re-painted one to suit the new GW colour scheme

THe new codex has rules for a biovore. and as far as I know, they made a new biovore model that was released at the same time.

Actually, that biovore has been around for some time, a couple of years at least.
You can tell it\'s not part of the new stuff, because they started making the different tyranids look more alike, giving them a more cohesive look.

There is a release schedule in the Rumours section on Warseer here
It lists the new Biovore as being released on 04/17/06

A lot have people have been mistaken by the biovore. My mate is one of them, and there are many people on the forum that also believed that the biovore currently for sale is new. I personally think that was a bit of GW\'s plan (no rant). The new colour scheme and the way they have baes the biovore has really made it decieving.
