At first I looked at Cho Hakkai (pigman) and thought 2 things; 1) Kerrek? 2) What the hell would I use a pig man for?

Then I remembered: My Chinese zodiac is the boar.... take my money already! :D

These mini are amazing! Living in China since 10 years, and watching from time to time the old chinese TV series a Journey to the West, it is really cool!
I will support them and one buy set, I will offer to my two little boys when finish (in ten years time according to all the minis I have to finish in between), their mother will read them the original story in Chinese during this time!

Quite excited by this game... Normally I am more about the minis, but seeing the mini and seeing the board they have prepared it seems really good... Let's see how it will be handled and done!

Flipping hell! I'm buying this one for sure - I grew up with these tales, Journey to the West, Three Kingdoms, Wu Song, and Ji Gong the Monk ... when is this going to be released?

Hi Chrispy, actually this model is 猪八戒 (zhubajie) and it normally looks like this in the serie. I am telling you, Marrow version is so much nicer!

Ah, I remember that guy from a giant sculpted carrot on a table.. from what I remember he's supposed to be a very lecherous character in the book.

The minis are very impressive, and I'd love to get a couple of em just for painting, but there's no viable option to do so. The cheapest option is for the Monkey King at 30bucks plus 10bucks postage. It's a nice fig and all, but not 40 bucks nice. If they had an option to pledge for a single resin pilgrim mini (plus maybe a smidgeon for postage) with the option to add more for other single resin minis they'd have my money, but as it stands I have no need for a board game or hordes of plastic minotaurs. I wonder if they'll sell the resins individually at a later date...

A lot of the stretch demons/soul hunters/female pilgrim are all add ons that can be bought separately. I assume you could even back at the $10 level and then add them on if you so chose.
