New Camera Means better painting

I got me a new camera for christmas, and I\'m hoping the better photos will allow you guys to give me some excellent criticisms that will help improve my painting. So please, I\'d love to hear what you think!

Doug mate, you\'re gonna have to get to grips with your new toy, that pis out of focus, you\'ve actually focussed on trhe sword, leaving the face a little blurry.
From what I can see,. the tonality is good overall, I\'d like more depth. I don\'t like the way she\'s based, looks like she\'s leaning to me.
Merry Christmas, at least your new toy came with the batteries.
P.s., what were you doing playing with your christmas present on christmas eve?

I\'m still working on the photo taking, but if you\'d seen how the WIP photo of this came out earlier, you\'d know what I mean about the photo. Still, I\'m working on it!

Id agree about the photo but then I still cant take good shots. Did the vote thing.

I\'d say the problem with the photo is that your backdrop is too close to the model. The camera has focused on that rather than the mini.
