The apparitions are a little bit too \'huh?\' inducing if you know what I mean. Very unusual and a bit too indistinct as sculpts for me. I love the ott charicatured style of the Living Impaired though, and the paint jobs really complement this. My current bank balance tells me that I must resist temptation though. Sorry!

I have to agree with Iono on these, the paint jobs are immaculate but the obscure look is a bit odd on the spirits, almost overpainted to me.perhaps more like black blended up to alot of highlights like the spirit in the movie the Frighteners. As for the zombies again great paint jobs but the comic style throws them off for me.mr.poops does a great style of sculpting but just too comic style I think for my taste.

while they are well painted, i think that the colour scheme of the spirits makes them look a little odd.

I too took a bit trying to figure out what the Apparations were. Even though the living impaired sorta look like undead fish-men I do kinda like them, mostly because I have a soft spot for zombies.

J\'adore! I did have to look at the apparitions for a while to find their heads but after some work I can report that I found \'em! The Living Impaired are pretty sweet. I think all the Catacomb Prowlers look like they\'d be a blast to paint; unfortunately I am not monetarily blessed so I could only afford the zombies. :(

They are quite nice, although I actually prefer the models to the painting. It\'s a bit too messy for close ups that close.

colors are a little to clean and pastel for my tastes. I\'d prefer something more dingy and sinister.

As far as the sculpts, I like the apparitians, but I think the living impaired look a little comical.

Yes the idea behind the range is that they are comical looking.

i, for one, am a fan of the apparitians - clasic ghosts in sheets with a ball and chain, whats not to like?. i might look in to getting some.

As DEM stated above, the Catacomb Prowler line is seperate from the main Wyrd line, and is supposed to be a bit more comical and over the top. :D

As requested, green pics.

mmmmindeed, agreed, the greens are a little more inspiring (the paint is good, it just doesnt showcase the minis well)

The problem with the apparitions is definitely the painting - I think that there has ben an attempt at an \'internal glow\' which hasnt really worked in the photos. It just makes it look like there is an extra bit sticking out rather than it being a deep recess...

The zombies look fantastic though!
