the best thing in ur mini are the proportions...

the worst thing (but however good) is the shield... seems like a softy wooden pillow for me ^^

no offence,
but it strikes me that the shield would be better as a round, metal shield (thinner, and with the ability to carry an impressive emblem)

i could see a little mod to the sword (giving it a less pointy blade, more choppy) but the design now is still impressive,

and personally, i always thought warrior dwarves should have short beards, it\'s just practical, which tends to be a kinda dwarven motto (weapons that double as tools... that kinda stuff..)

great job, most great....

if it hits production, shoot me a PM and let me know where i can order it...

Thanks for the compliments Holy Smigs. As far as the shield goes, I felt that a square shield would fit the design motif of the character better than a round shield. If you will notice the scales of his brigandine are square, as are the plates of his girdle, the only design element of his costume that is not square is the fur cloak brooch..... which I never bothered to think about until now..... Thios will have to change. lol

I was actually going to make the sword without a point, but I worried that people would not really know what it was. Hmmmmmmm Looks like I may be doing a weapons a pack for my trio of figures.....

Glad you like the sword Ritual.

well,

if you\'re pushing the squared theme... then why not also queare off the leather straps,
instead of rounded to the bolt, liiking clean crafted,
make it look more like straps of leather bolted on... (really, why would anyone bother rounding the leather strips where bolted to the shield for anything other than appearance..... )
untrimmed straps (squared off) would make it seem like a more a warrior\'s shield, bought for function over form...

truth be told I tried to get the straps to have more of a higher quality workmanship but I just could not get the straps to look right so I fudged em a bit. ;)

I spoke with Jeff Rodman this morning about having this figure cast up and produced. SO I hope to have some details on ordering within the next couple of weeks, if things work out well. :D
