New FW goodness

Fw now have this on their online store. I really do like thsi guy, I\'m quite surprised FW have made it, since all their other busts and statues seem to be going out of production. Loving the sculpting of the face, time to put in a pre-order methinks

I got this through the FW newsletter and have to say though I am not a fan of resin busts I do like this one.
I may have a go at this one myself.

You do know dry brushing mail at that scale just wont do

I do like it, my only criticism though is that he appears to be left handed. The jousting shield is on the left shoulder and the actual shield in the right hand.

Nothing against left handed people, it just looks odd to me, although the sculpt is great

Just as well Mr paintjob you do know that left handed people are supposed to be more artistic don\'t you. In my case that would be as a piss artist lol.

I have a lot of pewter/resin & plastic sitting patiently making me feel guilty as it is.

FW will be making their busts etc available at certain times of the year, like xmas. I imagine though that if you e-mailed Ewan and asked very nicely they would make you one up.

Nice bust! About how big is this thing in general, size of your hand or so?

As for the chainmail, you could dry brush it if you use one of those large (Y) feather brushes with a two inch end.

Just an idea.

I saw this guy, he is very cool.

I agree with LavonYor, the sculptor certainly was watching the Indiana Jones movie, this fellow is definately modelled after that Grail Knight.

i wish i could grow a mustache as grand as that!lol

@Propaintjob: Yep He\'s actually stood on my mantelpiece and spends his time looking at me with a distainful expression.
I\'ve thought out a colour scheme which may work so I might just try it on the 28mm version first. Kinda Dark, Brooding and Menacing.
